Indications/Uses
Dietary management of patients w/ or at risk of disease-related malnutrition in particular for those w/ increased protein needs including cancer, surgery, sarcopenia & paed failure to thrive.
Supplementary nutrition 2-2.5 scoops (12-15 g) bd-tds. Use in liqd or food <70°C: Stir 2-2.5 scoops into 150 mL liqd or 150 g food. Use in prep >70°C, but not cooking: Dissolve 2-2.5 scoops in 25-50 mL liqd at room temp. Add mixt to 150 mL hot liqd or 150 g food directly before serving (max 10 min before serving). Do not boil while or after adding powd.
Use under medical supervision. Not suitable as sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for cooking. Not for parenteral (IV) use. Monitor K levels in patients on a K restricted diet. Use w/ caution in childn <6 yr.
